Daniel Valdivia
Daniel is currently medical student at Robert-Wood Johnson Medical School - Class of 2026. He received his Master of Biomedical Science (MBS) degree from Rutgers University and bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience from the University of Delaware - - where he initially discovered his interest in the macro & micro dynamics of the central nervous system. Currently in Sun Laboratory Daniel uses optogenetic and calcium photometry techniques to collect and analyze data pertaining to temporal lobe epilepsy. His main research focuses on seizure ending patterns and their structural hippocampal correlates.
