Fabio Tescarollo, PhD

Fabio is graduated from Biological Sciences and Pharmacy in Brazil, where he got his Master and PhD degrees in Neurosciences. Since the beginning of his career, he is involved and interested in pathophysiological aspects of Epilepsy, with special emphasis in metabolic, molecular and electrophisiological aspects of this disease. Nowadays he is a Post-Doctoral Fellow in Hai Sun’s Lab, where he leads the rodent surgery team, performing and supervising intrahippocampal injections and optrode implantations for optogenetics and calcium fiber photometry studies.
