Sahana Sangappa

Sahana received a B.S. in Molecular Biology on the Biochemistry track at the University of Pittsburgh. As an undergraduate, she used genomic engineering and live-cell imaging to study the subcellular mechanisms of lipid metabolizing enzymes in the Department of Cell Biology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. In the Sun Laboratory, Sahana will be performing small rodent surgery and immunohistochemistry.
