Taha Umar

Taha Umar is a senior pursuing a B.A in Biological Sciences at Rutgers-New Brunswick. Prior to joining the Sun Lab, he was conducting research at the Cancer Institute of New Jersey. His projects focused on creating ARID2 overexpression plasmids for use in rescue assays to detect small molecules that target the ARID2 gene. Since joining the Sun Lab, he has been involved in seizure analysis and will be conducting an independent project focusing on racine score analysis in relation with opto-kindling.
