Xiao Deng

Xiao Deng is a senior, majoring in biochemistry, at Rutgers-New Brunswick. He has acquired a variety of research experience in PCR, ELISA, SDS-PAGE, and animal care/maintenance through active involvement in research lab activities and self designed projects. During his summer internship at Louisiana State University, he developed his expertise in protein purification and crystallization. He used these skills to study integrin proteins EGF1-2 and EGF1-3 structure that are produced by plasmid modified E. coli. He has great patience and care for animals which shows his love for nature.
